A chest with six drawers primarily of old-growth, Belize river-salvaged Mahogany from Rich Petty’s Greener Lumber of Missouri. The other Mahogany elements (legs, sides, dividers and some smaller pieces) from Shannon Roger’s Hardwood To Go. Sugar pine from Santa Barbara’s Soboba Hardwoods for drawer sides and backs. Quarter-sawn Sapodilla also from Greener Lumber for drawer pulls, straight-grained cedar for drawer bottoms and back slats, and poplar for some of the internals locally sourced. I worked on this over a seven-month period with numerous other projects for change of pace and necessity.
