The Hacienda Hotel, San Diego
Can you recommend a moderately-price hotel that has charm and value for an upcoming business/pleasure trip to San Diego?

The Hacienda Hotel in Old Town San Diego offers a hillside village flavor with a great location. Generous-sized and well-appointed rooms and suites feel as if they were splashed about hillside courtyards and patios by an impressionist painter. Navigating to your room after a night of food and margaritas in the Old Town commercial district could be a challenge, but it adds to the feeling that you are favored guests in a secret hide-a-way mere steps from the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants below.

Directly across from the hotel is the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park where you’ll find five original adobe structures and exhibits depicting life in early San Diego. The Bazaar del Mundo’s mercados, restaurants, festivals, and people add a lively vitality to the park’s more pedestrian though important mission.

Located near San Diego airport, the Hacienda is equidistant to Mission Bay and Coronado Island which puts you in a great position to explore San Diego’s many activities and attractions. Three blocks from the hotel is the San Diego Transit Trolley providing fun and convenient access to the Gaslamp Quarter, Qualcomm Stadium (and its replacement which is currently under construction) and other popular destinations.

The Hacienda Hotel is a Best Western affiliate offering 197 guest rooms. In-room refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers are most appreciated. Information and reservations may be obtained at www.haciendahotel-oldtown.com or by calling (800) 888-1991.
